Welcome to my website. I am the author of the books An Integral Guide to Recovery: Twelve Steps and Beyond (Integral Publishers), An Integral Foundation for Addiction Treatment: Beyond the Biopsychosocial Model (Integral Publishers), co-author of the Mind-Body Workbook for Addiction: Effective Tools for Relapse Prevention and Recovery (New Harbinger), Social Unrest: Resolving the Dichotomies of You/Me and Us/Them  (I-System Institute for Transdisciplinary Studies, Utah State University) and a contributing author to Opioids in South Africa: Towards a Policy of Harm Reduction (Human Sciences Research Council Press), and have published academic articles in the fields of addiction studies, theoretical psychology and philosophy.

I have a Master's degree in psychology (cum laude) from the University of South Africa. I am a PhD candidate in psychology,  and completed part of my doctoral research as a visiting scholar at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). I am registered psychological counsellor with the HPCSA, and a Certified Logic-Based Therapist.

In addition to offering counseling services, I am a Research Consultant for the I-System Institute for Transdisciplinary Studies at Utah State University, Faculty Member at the School of Behavioural Sciences at California Southern University, and a Faculty Member at the Wayne Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy at Bellarmine University.
